Peacecamp 2010

A visit to Yagur and Nazareth

Evelyn and Ronny went to Israel in March 2010 and visited the two schools which have participated at our peacecamps 2007 through 2009 - and will continue this year and hopefully also in the coming years.

In both schools we have met the accompanying teachers as well as peacecamp participants from all three previous years. All of them gave us a very cordial welcome. They spoke about the good times they have encountered in their particular peacecamp and how much they desire to have a reunion in Israel, to which the Austrian and Hungarian participants should come as well.

Basically we agreed to have such a reunion in July 2011, but we also noticed that it is not possible to arrange this from Vienna, so it is up to the two schools in Israel to organise the whole event.

We informed our friends about the plans for this year's peacecamp, and some of them wished to participate again.
